Are you looking for a good place for your college-aged kid to stay during the school year? Are you wary of the dingy conditions of many student dormitories? If you answered ‘yes’ to both questions then you should consider getting a unit from Studio A, a student-centric condominium building that is soon to rise in the heart of Quezon City. If your children are studying in Ateneo de Manila University, Miriam College, or in the University of the Philippines, this condominium building will make their lives in college that much easier.

Studio A is a project of Filinvest, one of the premier land development companies in the country. Although the company is more known for their sprawling subdivisions and villages, Filinvest is also responsible for the several high-end condominium complexes in Metro Manila. Studio A is the company’s latest project, and it is set to rise along Xavierville Avenue in Quezon City. In fact, as of this writing, the building is already more than 90% complete. This building will mainly cater to students studying in the nearby colleges and universities but it also has bigger residential units that are perfect for couples and small families. This means you don’t really need to be a student to enjoy living in this extravagant condominium building.

The Studio A Condominium offers three different kinds of residential units. For students or single professionals who like to live a minimalist lifestyle, there’s the Studio-type units. These units measure a minimum of 21 square meters, which may seem small at first but they are actually designed efficiently to make use of every bit of available floor space. As you enter the door to the unit, you will find the kitchen area, which already comes with a pre-installed tiled countertop, sink, cabinets, and provisions for a refrigerator. Opposite the kitchen area is the bathroom, which comes completely tiled and with all the necessary fixtures already installed. The remaining open space can be used for a sleeping area and still have a bit of space left for a dining table for two.

For those who are looking for more space, there’s the one-bedroom unit. The one bedroom unit measures 27 square meters. The one-bedroom unit almost looks identical to the studio-type unit but this one is much deeper and there is also a sliding partition that can separate the sleeping area from the rest of the unit. The partition actually folds away to turn the entire unit into one big studio if you want. As mentioned before, the one-bedroom unit is a bit bigger and you can use that extra space for a living room area or a study nook. The kitchen and the bathroom is basically identical to the ones in the studio-type unit.

Now, if you have more than one children who will be going to university, they might not have enough room for both of their stuff in the previous two residential units, but they will have more than enough space if they were to live in the two-bedroom suites. These units measure 46 square meters each, which is more than enough space for three to four persons (bunk beds in each room). The two bedrooms are actually large enough for a double-size bed frame, and still have room to spare for a cabinet and a desk. To make even more use of the rooms, you can just place a twin-size bed (or a bunk bed/desk combo). Outside of the rooms is an ample space for a modest living room. It can fit a sofa set for four. There is also a media center while still having a space left over for a dining table for four people max.

The kitchen area of the two-bedroom suite is also much bigger than those of the one-bedroom and studio-type units. There are more cabinets and counter space and there’s also a provision for a gas range and oven. The bathroom is also much more spacious. There is a provision in there for a washing machine and dryer, which means the residents can actually do their own laundry. This unit is ideal for two to four people because there’s more than enough room that they won’t get in each other’s way.

Even though Studio A is primarily marketed as a condominium building for students, if you’re a single professional who wants to live in a place that’s near your place of work, or if you are married with a kid, you will find that Studio A can actually be a great place to call your home. For instance, for a small family of three, the two-bedroom unit will be perfectly fine for their needs.
